Concealed carry in Virginia State Forests

Respectfully urge that you ammend your regulations to allow concealed carry permit holders to carry concealed in Virginia state forest.  In my opinion, the rights of law biding citizens should not be restricted merely because they cross the boundary into a state forest.  It is lawful for me to carry in a congested city or a country road  -  I believe this is permitted because of our inalienable right to self defense, and recognition that the police cannot protect us everywhere.  The same is true in a state forest.  Park  Rangers (or local police) can't be everywhere, and I should not be asked to give up my ability to defend myself and my family while in a state forest.  Concealed carry holders have proven to be among the most lawbiding of citizens - the rhetoric that mayhem will ensue if we are allowed to carry in a state forets (or other restricyed areas) is just not borne out by the facts.  Thanks for your consideration.
