we must allow lawful concealed weapons in Virginia's forest

I am writing to encourage our legislature to support the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Virginians who having obtained the right to carry a concealed weapon upon their person MUST be allowed to exercise this right everywhere (with as few exceptions as possible).

Concealed carry is about the fundamental right of Americans to bear arms and act in self-defense. It is unreasonable to expect a law-abiding citizen to display his gun or leave it at home when visiting a national forest. Aside from animal dangers one could be faced with a human aggressor in the woods...

Over-regulation and increasing restrictions on where we can carry a weapon chokes us to the point of making the right to carry a meaningless. Please do not mock this elemental principle of our founding father's Constitution and uphold it by allowed concealed carry in our country's forests and parklands.

Thank you

Dr Sebastian Koga
