VA State Forest Firearm Law

I am in favor of laws and regulations which would allow citizens to carry firearms for self-defense in Virginia's state forests. I support any such legislative and regulatory effort. I am a law-abiding Virginian with a carry permit who carries a firearm, and who hunts and fishes in Virginia, and who regularly enjoys Virginia's beautiful state forest areas, and I could not envision any reasonable or logical circumstance where limitations on my ability to carry in a state forest which exceed limitations on my ability to carry on a public street should ever apply. On the other hand, I can envision a number of logical and resonable reasons why it would make more sense -- from a personal protection standpoint -- for me to carry in a state forest than, say, on a public street.
