I agree with the argument that a law abiding concealed handgun permit holder should be allowed to carry concealed in the state forest of Virginia.  If a person feels the need to have a gun for protection they should have the right to carry.  No law is going to stop criminals from carrying but allowing qualified citizens to carry at least provides some degree of deterrence to criminals.  Also, this will bring consistency to the concealed carry laws since one can carry in the national park now and, I think, the national forests.
