I encourage you to allow concealed carry permit holders the ability to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense in Virginia's state forests. 

I am a reltired Virginia law enforcement officer and  serve as a part time officer now.  There is no reasen NOT to allow permit holders to carry in State Forest.
