I taking the time to write to urge the Department to allow law abiding citizens with concealed weapon permits to be allowed to carry in the state parks.  This ability can save lives especially when Rangers are few and far between and a criminal or gun yielding thug is threatening harm to someone.  As a Scoutmaster and a member of the Coast Guard Auxillary, law enforcement needs all the back up they can get.  It is proven that in states that have more lwa abiding citizens armed there is less crime.  Please take this into consideration when making your decision.
