I am writing to express my support for the proposed amendment to Virginia State Forest Regulation 4VAC10-30-170, which would allow concealed carry permit holders the ability to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense in Virginia's state forests.  As a hunter, hiker, and camper, it is important to me that I have the option to carry a handgun afield for self-defense.  I urge you to approve the amendment.  Thank you.
