Gentlemen, I respectfully request that the law be amended to allow Virginia holders of a concealed  handgun permit be allowed to carry a firearm in our forests. The permit holder has undergone FBI background checks & has attended training to get the permit. We should be allowed to carry a defensive tool just like a Forest Ranger. Criminals know that remote areas make unarmed people easy prey. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
