I respectfully urge the Virginia Department of Forestry to amend the Administrative Code to allow permit holders to carry concealed  handguns for protection in Virginia state forests. The rising incidences of rabid animal attacks and increasing predatory wildlife population justify allowing individuals to carry a means of protection.
