Concealed Carry in State Forests -- Please allow

My name is David Weber, and I am the holder of a concealed pistol permit in Virginia.  I respectfully urging the Virginia Department of Forestry to amend the Administrative Code and to support the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Virginians and non resident handgun permit holder.

Importantly, handguns are now allowed in US National Parks within the commonwealth of Virginia, and they should also be allowed in State Forests.  Those of us who possess a permit in Virginia have demonstrated our proficiency and training with concealed weapons, and have undergone a background check.  I strongly urge you to allow us to protect ourselves and our loved ones as we can now do in most federal parks.  Thank you.
