Please restore our second amendment rights!

I am writing in reference to the proposed amendment to Virginia State Forest Regulation 4VAC10-30-170, which would allow concealed carry permit holders the ability to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense in Virginia's state forests. I believe our country has drifted too far away from the intent and rights provided by our US Constitution. I respectfully urge the Virginia Department of Forestry to amend the Administrative Code and support the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Virginians. Please do the right thing here. It is the criminals that we all need to be concerned about, and not law-abiding citizens. Should you decide not to amend this ban, I can guarantee you that criminals will not hesitate one minute to break it if they see an opportunity to make an easy illegal gain from other law abiding citizens. We must preserve our rights to defend ourselves from criminals who will not hesitate to violate this ban for their benefit.
