Dear Department of Forestry,

I strongly support the proposed amendment to Virginia State Forest Regulation 4VAC1010-30-170 which will allow citizens who possess valid Virginia Concealed Handgun Permits to exercise their Second Amendment rights in Virginia’s state forests. All evidence points to the fact that allowing responsible concealed weapons carry does not reduce but indeed improves the safety and security of all citizens.
