I would like to urge that the amendment under consideration for this subject regulations  (Virginia State Forest Regulation 4VAC10-30-170)  be considered and passed.  Specifically, that amendment item which would permit legal concealed weapons permit holders to carry their weapons on public property for the purposes of self-defense.  This, I believe, is a normal and natural extension of the constitutional rights of citizens to Keep and bear arms as granted to us in the 2nd Amendment of the USA Constitution..
