This is the most confusing thing I I have seen in a long time. I am an instructor and was not aware there were any issued related to the current training courses. I have just attended an Instructor inservice give by the department and none of these changes were even mentioned. This NEW PRIVATE SECURITY ORENTATION is already included in most  training program. Are we trying to make Compliance officers out of the students. This 2 hour class make several of the training programs run a second day. That is a substantial cost to the schools and the end result to the students and me as a business owner. I will loose a second day of work. Where does the money come from. Have you read the news on the economy lately? If there are problems with Training Schools not teaching the Law and Regs, Bring them into compliance, don't force new rules.

How long will it take the Department to approve the new Training Courses. If you have spare time, Enforcement is a great place to spend spare time.
