Virginia Department of Forestry re: Administrative Code and the Second Amendment

I'd like to encourage the VDF to support firearm possesion in VA forests as a support of the Second Amendment and an added safety measure in the forests. Those who hold concealed carry permits and typically the most law-abiding citizens in a jurisdiction. Those who have registered weapons are also pro-law, pro-safety and respect the firearms they own. The simple right to carry weapons, as allowed by the State, should not stop at the border of a VA forest. The relatively few but real bear and human attacks against those using the forests are reason enough for a law-abiding citizen to be able to protect themselves and thier family in case of extreme emergency.
