I encourage you in the strongest terms to modify whatever regulations are necessary to ALLOW  the concealed carry of handguns in state forests by those persons who possess the necessary state permit.

Not only would this be in keeping with the letter and spirit of the Second Amendment, but it would also enhance the personal safety of individuals far from the protective shield of law enforcement personnel.
