I am writing in response to the proposed changes of Virginia State Forest Regulation 4VAC10-30-170.  State Forests do not have the level of law enforcement coverage that urban areas enjoy but still have a variety of challenges, including aggressive animals.  As a result I do not see any reason to ban concealed weapons from these areas for people who have been deemed fit to carry them by the state.  I hope this ban is removed.
