All Concerned,

As law abiding citizens of the Commonwealth my wife and I urge you to allow citizens with concealed carry permits to do so in VIrginia's Forests.  If citizens have the right and have met the requirements to legally carry a concealed weapon in the Commonweath why would they not be allowed to carry that same weapon in a State Forest.  The common sense rule should apply.  Citizens have the right to self protection and  when criminals know where citizens can't protect themselves then they know where the easy targets are.  We urge you to support the proposed amendment to Virginia State Forest Regulation 4VAC10-30-170.
