I would like to state that valid concealed permit holders should have the right to protect themselves  in the recreational forest areas due to the alarming number of predatory criminals, rapist and drug dealers using these areas to their advantage. I also believe that more citizens would utilize our park systems if they felt safer from attack without being in violation of state law if they did have to defend themselves. I live close to Pearisburg Va. where some hikers were killed by a local predators some years back while hiking the Appalachan Trail.Had they been able to protect themselves from and armed criminal the outcome might have been different .I am in the security business and talk to a lot of folks that feel the current law is unconstutional and I agree 100%. I have to go into these areas to unlock cars for folks and I never know what I will be encountering when called into secluded area's. I may be called out to be robbed or forced to break into something by thugs. I can't call a deputy to meet me at every job for safety, thats not their job anyway. Thank you for your time and please consider the regulation change.    Billy A Friend   540-980-4682
