Concealled weapons in State Parks

I totally support the carrying of concealled weapons by leagally licensed persons in Virginia State Parks. While the Va Prks Department does an incredible job keeping the parks safe for visitors they park rangers can not be all places at all times and attocious crimes have been committed in state parks all around the country.  To me not allowing concealled weapons to be carried in state parks is an open invitation to any person looking to inflict harm on a defensless person to do so in the parks, where they can be assured no one is able to defend themselves. Whether on the streets of Richmond or Alexandria.  one of the reasons Va enjoys such a low crime rate is because of the knowledge that everyone has the right to defend themselves in Va, that should include state parks.

Sincerely
