About Concealed Carry

I will keep this brief, as I am sure you receive many comments daily and do not have the time to read through a book. I am writing in support of concealed carry in all state forests, as I have had personal experience in which it has saved my life. I live in Louisiana, and while walking through the Kisatchie National Forest my then fiancee and I were beset upon by two suspicious characters. At first, they asked us about directions and general questions; though we were both already uncomfortable from the beginning. It then proceeded to them commenting on how deep we were in the forest, and how beautiful a wife I have. It ended with them making undue advances and verbal threats, to which I drew and made it known I possessed a firearm; at which they retreated and left us in peace. If I had not been carrying my lawful pistol, my wife and I might not have walked from that park that day. I hope my few words mean anything in the coming votes.
