Dear Virginia Department of Forestry,

I am writing you this letter urging you to amend the Administrative Code to allow concealed carry by licensed permit holders in state forests. Just recently laws have progressed permitting law-abiding citizens to exercise their Second Amendment rights in National Forests, and I think it is logical to expand this to State forests as well.

I think we can all agree ultimately we hope everyone can have an enjoyable and safe time enjoying nature in the State’s forests, and I think allowing legal concealed carry will help make this a reality.
