It appears that the Fundamental Handgun Training course requires a written exam but no live fire. Live fire is equally if not more important than a written exam.
The creation of another Firearms Training Catagory (Fundamental Handgun Training) is creating an dublication of effort. The Basic Handgun Course as it now stands would suffice to meet the requirements of the registrants that the proposed changes are addressing.
