I do hope that gun permit holders are allowed to carry their concealed firearms in Virginia's state forests. I am a female and enjoy hiking and running on wilderness trails, and I do not feel safe in these secluded areas without my firearm. We have seen so many times innocent females abducted, raped, murdered when hiking or jogging and I believe many cases could have been detoured if the female victim was carring a firearm. I want to enjoy the wilderness but I also want to feel safe. Thank you for considering my views.
