I support the change allowing concealed carry permit holders who possess a valid permit to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense within Virginia's state forests.  I believe a law abiding citizen should have the right to defend themselves, family, or friends if needed no mater there location.  I feel that by not allowing legal carry of a firearm you are only welcoming a criminal to do harm as they know no one else will be armed.  You seldom have a gun shop robed because the criminal knows he will have to fight more than helpless victims.
