Respectfully, I would like to urge the Virginia Department of Forestry to amend their Administrative Code (4VAC10-30-170. Explosives, fires, etc.) and to support the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Virginians.

I would be in favor of the following addition to the current code:

"This regulation shall not apply to the carrying of concealed handguns within state forests by holders of a valid concealed handgun permit issued pursuant to § 18.2-308 of the Code of Virginia."
