I am sending this message to urge The Virginia Department of Forestry to allow law abiding Virginia residents, who go through the necessary steps to obtain a concealed handgun permit, the rights that we currently have in the rest of our state. I know that our CHP holders will respect our state forests and should be allowed to defend themselves anywhere they feel there may be a threat.
