When the current Governor, Bob McDonnell, was the Attorney General, he published an opinion that State Parks and other such state agencies did not have the power to ban openly carried handguns. I agree and would like  open carry to be legal in State Forests.  Everyone understands that law enforcement can not be everywhere all the time which is why a good many of us law abiding citizens take the great responsibility of carrying our weapons when we are out and about.  We take responsibility for our own protection and would like to legally do so in as many places as possible.  Thank You!!
