I support the right to be able to defend my family, myself, and others.

I support the right to be able to defend my family, myself, and others.

NO ONE should ever have to fear the choice of being able to protect themselves or their family, or risk a run in with law enforcement for exercising a GOD given right of defense and survival. You bureaucrats still don't seem to get it. You can make all of the rules, regulations, and laws that you want to. The only ones who will obey them are the good guys who will be "playing by the rules". All that your prohibitions do is to create a safer working environment for the criminals.

Instead of restricting the law abiding citizens right to self defense, emphasis should be placed on the unlawful use of a firearm such as when one commits robbery, battery, murder, poaching, etc. in a park, forest, or anywhere for that matter.

Animals of the two or the four legged variety are not going to wait for you to call for help and then to wait for that help to arrive. Survival and self defense are a personal choice. My choice to defend my family and myself only interferes with those who would choose to do us harm.

Respectfully submitted,

Brian Smith
