ARMED CITIZENS IN STATE PARKS

I commend and endorse the legislation to allow lawful concealed carry on state parks/forest land. I request you also consider, amending this proposed law to allow for lawful open, unconcealed carry.

I am a 30 year resident of Virginia, a retired Navy SEAL and continue to perform security related work in our currant conflict zones. My experiences’ have taught me that men/women capable of countering combat power threatened or brought against them is a great deterrent against evil.
