I am an Antierrorism/Force Protection expert with a Masters In Criminal Justice Administration.  The easiest way (with no additional costs) to deter criminals and other ilk of that sort is to push for both concealed carry and open carry in all state parks.  The criminals are not concerned about gun laws and violate them with impunity.  Please look at DC's list of criminal activity involving firearms for substantiation.  Virginia deserves better.  Gun bans (like Maryland) mean many more innocent people get victimized.  Mr Lott has scientifically proven this point.  Please actively push for open and concealed carry by law abiding citizens of the Dominion!
