I am a former Law Enforcement Officer and retired military. Allowing CHP holders to carry conceled enhances saftey for all citizens and is not a dangerous situation as some peolpe claim. This does not open the Stae Forests to a Wild West atmosphere as CHP holders are among the most law abiding citizens as studies contiually show.

Allowing open carry will also enhance the safety of all citizens as criminalsare looking for soft targets i.e. unarmed citizens who are then easy prey. Gun free zones are open season zones fro criminals and danger zones for citizens.

Please pass the rule changes but add lawful open carry as well. Thank you for your assistance.
