The anti-gun "mafia" keeps dis-informing the public for their own, nefarious motives. They keep up these warnings about blood running in the street and shoot-outs. These have been shown to be pure propaganda. 

When I go to an event where there are many people who are openly "bearing arms," I feel safer because if there were an armed "wacko" present bent on a mass killing, one of the armed sane ones would be able to take out the loonie before he (or she) shot more than one or two.
