I am very grateful for the rule changes for state forests but I also belive that open carry be permitted. The current conditions in todays economy makes many people tempted to take advantage of senior citizens such as myself who enjoy the great outdoors.Just seeing a senior citizen armed might change the mind of the criminal type.We have to stand up for ourselves as police officers ar e not readily availabe in the great outdoors
