I currently do not visit State Parks as I am not allowed to carry a self defense handgun there. I take laws very seriously and would never beak them. That being said, the same ideal does not affect criminals. Criminals by their nature do not follow laws. Those are the people that currently carry in State Parks and other places honest citizens are not permitted to carry. They do this because they know they are the only ones armed. This change would only make State Parks safer.
