I TOTALLY support the proposed regulation. However, I also feel it should allow for "open carry" as well. Just because someone does not choose to obtain a concealed carry permit, that doesn't mean they are any less concerned about protecting themselves and/or those they cherish. Many uninformed persons would argue that nothing requiring a firearm is likely to happen within the peace and quiet of such an environment. These same people would have likely argued that the likelihood of someone walking into a cafeteria in Kileen, Texas in 1991 and murdering 22 people in cold blood was just as remote...and yet it happened! We all need to to take our heads out of the sand and admit that things like this do in fact happen. Bad people are hell bent to hurt good people, period! The only thing that can stop a bad person with a gun, unfortunately, is a GOOD person with a gun and we all hope it never comes down to that, yet we need to be prepared for that possibility wherever it may exist.

PLEASE make it legal to "open carry" as well!
