This action makes my organization slightly more competitive with the majority of its peer institutions while costing the taxpayers (=me) nothing.

My sister and I both moved back in with our parents for a year after college while looking for jobs. I went uninsured for most of that year. (Luckily I did not get sick or hurt.) This rule will help people in this and many other situations to have greater access to proper health care.

And yes, this action will be beneficial to homosexuals, and that is the only thing making it remotely controversial. This makes me sad.

Many employers including my own have endorsed this action, citing that it will help Virginia attract and retain competitive workers at all levels. I strongly concur.
