The rights of the minority should never be subject to the whims of the majority. I strongly support any measure to extend coverage of benefits in the state. I believe it will be good for business by attracting high-caliber workers. Additionally, both Georgetown University and the State of Michigan do not recognize same-sex marraige yet still grant benefits to other domiciled adults.
