Let's increase our taxes for State Run Health Care by covering anyone...

Let me see, Virginia has a 3.5 Billion dollar budget deficit for 2009 and now they want to increase health care coverage for anyone living in a "unmarried state" in violation of the Virginia Marriage Amendment Act of 2007. Do we encourage deficit spending for those state employees who cohabitate voluntarily without the responsibility of marriage? The Virginia Courts need more litigation on the "rights" under Virginia Law to have health care coverage because someone lived with Billy or JoAnne, while they are or were a State employee.

Why not just have the State employee have several live-in partners since they are single and increase the health care payments and coverage for those people. Why not just target the State employee and live with them to get free medical health coverage? Why not just have a State employee through humanitarian or religious concerns adopt or care for hundreds of illegal aliens throughout Virginia and cover their health care as well.

Let Virginia be the pinnacle of state health coverage for everyone except those non-state employees who incur the majority of the cost for the gracious and generous State employee to squander away with their cohabitation mate(s) or fiends, family , distant relatives and whom ever else the State employee wishes to call them - as long as they get health care coverage - what's the big deal who they are?

The State and its citizens owe them because our State Employees don't want to get married, but want the same benefits as being married. Actually, you are not required to be a US Citizen to be a State employee - so let's clean-up being a US Citizen first before we even consider funding the lifestyles of State employees and their friends, families, and distant relatives.

The proposal to expand health care benefits beyond marriage is a clear violation of the Constitution of Virginia.

Such an expansion of benefits, despite claims by proponents, has to increase the cost of health insurance for the state and consequently, the taxpayer.
