General Information
Action Summary Chapter 215 of the Acts of the 2014 General Assembly, which was the result of HB 899, decreases the condominium unit purchaser’s right to cancel the purchase contract from ten days to five days. It also requires the purchase contract to state this in boldface print of not less than 12 point type. Further, the statutorily and regulatory required language in the public offering statement must be amended to reflect this change in the Code of Virginia.

Executive Branch Review This Action is exempt from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act. The normal executive branch review process is not required. As such, it can be submitted directly for publication and is effective upon publication.
