Stage:
Since more than 180 days have passed since the end of the
NOIRA
stage, a Time Frame Waiver must be granted by the Governor's office.
This waiver was requested on 4/5/2013
Agency Reason: The public comment period for the NOIRA Stage ended September 26, 2012. On March 14, 2013, the Safety and Health Codes Board approved submitting a Proposed Stage Regulatory Action. However, the Department was also preparing to post two Fast-Track Regulatory Actions on Town Hall by the April 1, 2013 deadline (as part of the Governor’s Regulatory Reform Initiative). The Department also was preparing two very detailed Final Exempt Regulatory Actions, which have deadlines imposed by the US Dept of Labor. For this reason, the Department is a few days beyond the 180 day deadline for submitting this Proposed Stage Regulatory Action, and we request a waiver from the 180 day time limit.
