A meeting of this work group, which was appointed by the Secretary of Natural Resources, will be held from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2003, in the Conference Room of the  Chesapeake Bay Local Assistance Department, James Monroe Building, 17th Floor, 101 North 14th Street, Richmond, Virignia 23219.  The work group will meet to consider the following issues identified by the Secretary of Natural Resources (1) Definitions of "perennial stream" and "water body with perennial flow"; (2) Recommendations for protocols for site-specific determinations of perennial flow and guidance for use of such protocols; (3) The use and meaning of the term "contiguous" or "adjacent" as those terms apply to nontidal wetlands when determining the geographical extent of Resource Protection Areas (RPAs); and (4) Revision of Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area maps to reflect changes made to RPAs through on-site determinations.
