| Purpose of the meeting The Virginia Department of Education will host its Virtual Learning Advisory Committee (VLAC) meeting on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 10:30-12:00 p.m. at the Department for Aging & Rehabilitation Services (DARS) building located at 8004 Franklin Farms Drive, Henrico, VA 23229. The focus of the committee is to share information related to the two objectives. • Online courses, in-service training and digital instructional resources necessary for school divisions to meet graduation requirements. • Strategic planning to expand blended and online learning opportunities in Virginia's public schools, including cost-effective access to high-need and low-demand courses, training, content and digital resources.
