| Purpose of the meeting The meeting of the Board will be a two-day event that includes the Board meeting on July 20, 2016, and the Board tour on July 21, 2016. The Board will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. Additionally, staff will request the Board’s approval of the following regulatory actions: • Final exempt action to promulgate 2 VAC 5-319 (Best Management Practices for the Operation of Apiaries in Order to Limit Operator Liability) • Proposed action to promulgate 2 VAC 5-425 (Vapor Pressure Requirements for Gasoline Ethanol Blends) • Notice of intended regulatory action to promulgate 2 VAC 5-115 (Regulations for Determining Whether A Private Animal Shelter Meets the Purpose of Finding Permanent Adoptive Homes for Animals) Staff will also request that the Board adopt revisions to the administrative process for compliance actions taken by the Office of Pesticide Services. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||||
