Purpose of the meeting
The Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy, Division of Mined Land Reclamation, will hold an informal conference to receive comments regarding the proposed permit application 1007626 for Nine mile Spur, LLC PN 1101887. The proposed permit area is located 0.45 miles North of Stonega on Bluff Spur in Wise County. This informal conference is scheduled for June 20, 2013 at 9:30 AM. The conference will be a fact-finding proceeding and will be held at the DMME Office at 3405 Mountain Empire Road Big Stone Gap, VA. Any person having an interest, which is or may be adversely affected by the decision on the application, may present oral or written comments during this conference. Comments should be specific as to how the proposed operation may adversely affect the person.
