| Purpose of the meeting The Board will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services, and will recess at 2:00 p.m. to hold a public hearing on the Proposed Rules and Regulations for the Enforcement of the Endangered Plant and Insect Species Act (2 VAC 5-320). The regular meeting will reconvene after the public hearing. The Board will consider the following regulatory actions at the meeting: 1. Report on Expansion of 2 VAC 5-318, Thousand Cankers Disease Quarantine 2. Report on Expansion of 2 VAC 5-335, Virginia Emerald Ash Borer Quarantine 3. Proposed Exempt Action - Repeal of 2 VAC 20-11, Public Participation Guidelines (Pesticide Control Board) 4. Proposed Exempt Actions - Transfer of Pesticide Control Board (PCB) Regulations to Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services (BACS) ** 2 VAC 20-20, Rules and Regulations for Enforcement of the Virginia Pesticide Law (BACS number - 2 VAC 5-670) **2 VAC 20-30, Regulations Governing Pesticide Fees Charged by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (BACS number - 2 VAC 5-675) **2 VAC 20-40, Regulations Governing Licensing of Pesticide Businesses Operating Under Authority of the Virginia Pesticide Control Act (BACS number - 2 VAC 5-680) **2 VAC 20-51, Regulations Governing Pesticide Applicator Certification Under Authority of Virginia Pesticide Control Act (BACS number - 2 VAC 5-685) 5. Withdrawal of PCB’s Proposal for 2 VAC 20-60, Regulations for Pesticide Containers and Containment Under Authority of Virginia Pesticide Control Act 6. Proposed Fast-Track Action - Adoption of 2 VAC 5-690, Regulations for Pesticide Containers and Containment Under Authority of Virginia Pesticide Control Act The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes.
