| Purpose of the meeting The Board will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. The meeting will recess in time for a public hearing to begin at 10 a.m. on the Proposed Adoption of Permanent Thousand Cankers Disease Quarantine. The meeting will reconvene after the public hearing to address the following regulatory actions: 1. Proposed Adoption of Permanent Thousand Cankers Disease Quarantine, 2. Proposed Exempt Action to Amend 2 VAC 5-405 – Regulations for the Application of Fertilizer to Non-Agricultural Lands, 3. Proposal to Amend 2 VAC 5-320 – Rules and Regulations for the Enforcement of the Endangered Plant and Insect Species Act, 4. Proposed Withdrawal of Regulatory Action to Amend 2 VAC 5-60 – Rules and Regulations Governing the Operation of Livestock Markets, and 5. Proposed Withdrawal of Regulatory Action to Amend 2 VAC 5-120 – Rules and Regulations Governing the Recordkeeping by Virginia Cattle Dealers for the Control or Eradication of Brucellosis of Cattle. The board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date, so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||||||||
