| Purpose of the meeting The Board will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. In addition, the Board will consider the following regulatory actions: 1. Final adoption of 2 VAC 5-490, Regulations Governing Grade “A” Milk; 2. Final adoption of the action to repeal 2 VAC 5-540, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Carbonated and Still Water Bottling Plants and Beverages; 3. Request to file a Notice of Intended Regulatory Action (NOIRA) for 2 VAC 5-60, Rules and Regulations Governing the Operation of Livestock Markets; and 4. Request to file a NOIRA for 2 VAC 5-120, Rules and Regulations Governing the Recordkeeping by Virginia Cattle Dealers for the Control or Eradication of Brucellosis of Cattle. The Board will also receive a report from agency staff on the Commissioner’s action to expand the Pine Shoot Beetle Quarantine. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||||||||
