Purpose of the meeting
In accordance with Section 4 VAC 25-130-773.13 of the Virginia Coal Surface Mining Reclamation Regulations, the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy, Division of Mined Land Reclamation, will hold an informal conference to receive comments regarding the proposed permit application for The Black Diamond Company. The proposed permit area is located along the middle fork of Hunts Creek, in Buchanan County, approximately 0.7 miles northeast of Breaks, Virginia, off State Route 631. Any person having an interest, which is or may be adversely affected by the decision on the application, may present oral or written comments during this conference person. Special accommodations for the disabled will be made available at the public meeting or hearing on request. Anyone needing special accommodations should contact the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy at least seven days prior to the meeting or hearing date.
