| Purpose of the meeting The Board will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. The Board will consider a proposed action to amend 2 VAC 5-320, Rules and Regulations for the Enforcement of the Endangered Plant and Insect Species Act; a proposed action to repeal 2 VAC 5-540, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Carbonated and Still Water Bottling Plants and Beverages; and an exempt action to implement 2 VAC 5-316, Beach Vitex Quarantine. At 10:00 a.m., the Board will hold a public hearing on the implementation of a permanent Beach Vitex Quarantine that includes the counties of Accomack and Northampton and the independent cities of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation.
